Popular idol group AKB48 appeared on TBS‘ special music program “Ongaku no Hi” which was live broadcasted on July 14th, and 16 Senbatsu members performed their upcoming 27th single for the first time.
The new single titled “Gingham Check” will be the second single making Oshima Yuko who topped “AKB48 4th Senbatsu General Election“, as the center after “Heavy Rotation” (released in August 2010). The single will be released on August 29th, right after Maeda Atsuko’s graduation.
As the title says, the girls made appearance in white and blue gingham check costumes, and vigorously performed the new song.
