AKB48’s Watanabe Mayu has announced that she will be releasing her second single “Otona Jelly Beans” (Adult Jelly Beans) on July 25th.
Though Watanabe’s pigtails are her trademark look, she has decided to forgo her pigtails this time for a more mature image by letting her hair down.
Watanabe commented on the single and the concept, stating,
“It is quite my type of song! On the jacket, I tried to show my natural and mature side. It was fresh and fun.”
