Oshima Yuko gets “Brave” while riding a horse

On June 13th, AKB48’s Oshima Yuko paid a visit to the Tokyo Horse Riding Club in Shibuya to attend an event for the American animated film “Brave”.
Oshima was in charge of dubbing the Japanese voice for the movie’s main character Merida. Merida can be seen dashing through the forest on horseback in the film, so to connect herself with the scene, Oshima herself rode a pony. When Oshima was 12-years-old, she participated in a farm stay to learn how to ride horses. “I love horses,” Oshima said happily. “It’s exciting, it’s been about four years since I’ve ridden a horse!
On the 6th, when Oshima took first place in AKB48’s Senbatsu General Election for the second time, she commented, “I wanted to see this scenery (from first place) one more time.” She was questioned by the press, “Which is better? The scenery from a horse or the scenery from the number one spot?” She responded, “They’re both great.
