With the announcement of AKB48’s Sashihara Rino (19) moving to Fukuoka based group HKT48, even the girls of HKT48 couldn’t hold back their surprise.
On June 16th, Team H member Wakatabe Haruka (13) threw the opening pitch at the Soft Bank vs. DeNA game at the Yahoo! Dome. Wakatabe gave her comment on the group’s new member, “We still have a ways to go when it comes to dancing and singing. We’re particularly bad at MCing. I hope we can learn a lot from Sashihara and can make a better HKT together.”
HKT’s center Kodama Haruka (15) updated her Google+ account on the same day, “I heard about Sashihara Rino-san this morning and I’m really surprised…”
Lastly, HKT’s only member to enter the top 64 during the “4th Senbatsu General Election”, Miyawaki Sakura (14) also updated her Google+ account showing her complex feelings, “It looks like AKB48’s Sashihara-san will be switching to HKT48. Right now I feel nothing but shock. I wonder what’s going to happen after this…”
