NMB48’s Watanabe Miyuki holds first performance with AKB48

On June 29th, NMB48 member Watanabe Miyuki made her first appearance in AKB48 Team B’s stage performance, ‘Theater no Megami‘, at AKB48 Theater in Akihabara.
It’s been 3 months since it was announced that Watanabe would be joining AKB48 for a limited time along with SKE48’s Matsui Jurina. Watanabe, who appeared on stage without notifying the fans, combined her nickname “Mirukii” and performance name, saying, “I will do my best to become the theater’s ‘megamirukii’!
In response, the crowd called out “We’ve been waiting!” and “Mirukii!” Together with the members of Team B, Watanabe performed AKB48’s songs as well as the unit’s song, “Locker Room Boy“.
Watanabe is now a member of NMB48’s Team N and AKB48’s Team B. Although she was ranked out of range last year, she placed 19th in this year’s ‘General Election‘. The 19th position was previously held by Matsui Jurina, Sashihara Rino, and Yokoyama Yui.
