On December 19th,
Yokoyama Yui who is a member of both
AKB48 and
NMB48,
made her NMB48 theater performance debut in Namba, Osaka, and there, it
was officially announced that she would be joining Team N.
“First from Kyoto (her hometown) to Akihabara, and now here I am
in Namba. People in Osaka are upbeat, so I feel like frolicking too,” Yokoyama said to the audience, as she was welcomed by them with “Yuihan (Yokoyama’s nickname)” calls.
When the announcement of her joining the team N, was made, Yokoyama expressed her joy,
“I’m surprised, and very happy.” Yamamoto Sayaka, the captain of Team N, also said,
“I am happy that Yuihan joined. We will try our best as new Team N.”
