NMB48’s Hikawa Ayame & Sato Sorai announce their graduation from the group

It was announced that NMB48 Team M member Hikawa Ayame, and Kenkyusei Sato Sorai would be graduating from the group.

Hikawa has been taking a rest since October 29th due to treatment and rehabilitation for an injury on her foot. According to Hikawa, she has decided to graduate because of the injury. She commented, “Even though I’m getting treatment, it hasn’t recovered completely, so when I try to exercise, it hurts. While taking a rest, I spent a lot of time thinking about my future, and it made me start thinking about graduating.”

There will not be a graduation performance for Hikawa because of the injury, however, a graduation ceremony will be held on December 22nd. More details will be announced later regarding the graduation ceremony.

On the same day, Kenkyusei Sato Sorai also announced she will be graduating from the group in order to focus on her studies. Sato commented, “I have two dreams. One is to become an actress, and the other one is to become a nursery teacher which was my dream before I joined NMB48. When I contemplate my future, the feeling that I want to focus on my studies, got stronger, thus I have decided to graduate.”

There has been no information for her graduation performance at this moment, but it will be announced later on the group’s official site.

Including Hikawa and Sato, there will be total 15 members/Kenkyusei graduated (or withdrew) from NMB48 during this year.
