On December 8th, Maeda Atsuko sent out a message to AKB48 celebrating the group’s 7th anniversary.
AKB48 made their debut at their theater in Akihabara on December 8, 2005. On the morning of the 8th, Maeda wrote on her Twitter, “Fans, members, and staff of AKB48, congratulations on your 7 years.” She added, “I have work today, so I won’t be able to go to the theater, but I will be supporting you from my work place.”
This is AKB48’s first anniversary after Maeda graduated from the
group back in August. While she won’t be able to attend the group’s 7th
anniversary performance, her message is surely a special one to the
members.
AKB48 will hold a special 7th anniversary performance at AKB48
Theater on December 8th. It will feature all members of AKB48, including
research students as well as SNH48’s Suzuki Mariya and Miyazawa Sae.
