NMB48 members advocate crime prevention measures
On August 13th, 4 members of Namba, Osaka-based idol group NMB48 appeared as police chiefs of the Minato, Osaka police station for a crime prevention class at a hotel in Minato, Osaka.
The Osaka police department organized the class in conjunction with the Crime Prevention Association. The girls were awarded with sashes from the chief at the Minato Police Station, and said, “We are glad to be able to become the police chief, which we had longed for.”
The four appeared at the assembly hall for the summer festival and explained counter-measures to kidnapping and molestation. They smiled as they stated, “Please get into the habit of being aware of your surroundings.”
